N-DUBZ star Dappy has lost his appeal to overturn his assault conviction.

In January, the rapper was found guilty of assault and affray stemming from a violent petrol station bust-up.
He subsequently challenged the decision but his appeal was rejected at London’s High Court today.
Dappy's co-defendants, Kieran Vassell, 25, and Alfred Miller, 28, who were also involved in the service station scuffle, lost their appeals too.

A week-long trial earlier this year heard that Dappy – real name Costadinos Contostavlos – had been out partying with pals prior to the incident.
After spending the night at the Casino club in Guildford, the group stopped at a Shell garage close to the Surrey town at about 3.30am.
Prosecuting lawyer Brian Stork claimed Dappy had approached Grace Cochran and Serena Burton, both 19, on February 27 last year.
He apparently tried to persuade them to get into his car to party with him at a nearby recording studio.
The court was told that Dappy became angry and called them “sluts” when they refused his advances and began to ridicule him.
He was then accused of spitting at them but missing.
A man called David Jenkins, who had been talking to the two women, then stepped in to protect them but was spat at by Dappy.
The pop star – who was not in court for today’s verdict – was sentenced to 150 hours of community service and ordered to pay £4,500 compensation and £2,000 in court costs.
