THE carjacked driver held by the Boston bombers has revealed his terrifying ordeal for the first time - and told how the terrorists chatted about girls, the new iPhone 5 and the future of CDs as they fled cops.

The Chinese 26-year-old - identified by his American nickname Danny - spoke for the first time about being taken by Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
He told how he thought: "Death is so close to me,” as he analysed the brothers' words for clues about where and when they might kill him.
Danny said while he was texting, a man in dark clothes approached his car and knocked on the window.
Before he could react, the man - Tamerlan Tsarnaev - had unlocked the door and climbed in - brandishing a silver handgun.
After making it clear he was prepared to shoot Danny, Tamerlan asked him why his English wasn't very good, before musing: “OK, you’re Chinese ... I’m a Muslim.”
“Chinese are very friendly to Muslims!” Danny replied. “We are so friendly to Muslims."
Tamerlan later told Danny to "relax" - as younger brother Dzhokahr sat behind the pair.

The carjackers were also disappointed that he did not have any CDs in his vehicle, Danny told the Boston Globe.

Instead they they flipped through the radio but avoiding news stations - only putting on a CD after they had made a stop.
This led the brothers to debate whether anyone still listens to CDs.
The terrifying late-night drive began at around 11pm last Friday night and lasted an hour-and-a-half.
Danny also revealed that at one stage he heard the brothers openly discussing driving to Manhattan.
However he couldn't make out if they were planning another attack or just looking to escape.
Fortunately, Danny's car was almost out of gas - offering him an opportunity to escape his captors.
They stopped at a Shell Station, but younger brother Dzhokhar, 19, was forced to go inside to pay for petrol.
And when Tamerlan put his gun in the door pocket to fiddle with a navigation device, Danny seized his moment to escape.
He unbuckled his seat belt, opened the door, then slammed it behind him before sprinting off at an angle.
He heard Tamerlan shout "F***!" but the man did not follow.
Danny reached the safe haven of a Mobil station across the street where he sought cover in a supply room.
While he was there Danny shouted at the clerk to call 911.
US authorities said Danny's quick-thinking meant cops hunting the killers were able to swiftly track down the Mercedes and prevent a possible attack by the brothers on New York.
