Next in the firing line We reveal new Apprentice hopefuls

Apprentice candidates
The best year yet? ... the new candidates for The Apprentice

THE Apprentice is back next week and bosses hope to rev things up by signing an ex-F1 RACER.

Vain Myles Mordaunt is one of 16 business wannabes who also include a sexy STRIPPING cupcake boss, a property magnate who likens himself to Napoleon, a “spiritual” make-up entrepreneur, an Oxbridge toff and a former semi-pro footballer with the surname Clough.

Producers on Lord Sugar’s annual business reality show reckon this year’s wannabes will be its best yet.
A source said: “The line-up is strong this year. It’s not just show-offs, there are credible people who viewers will love.”
Monaco resident Myles used to race F1 in his twenties and won the British Motorsport Foundation Formula First Scholarship when he was 21.
He then took a job flogging F1 sponsorship and has spent the past ten years working in “luxury brand marketing”.

Myles, who describes himself as “business perfection personified”, appeared as Piers Morgan’s guide on his ITV show about Monte Carlo in 2009.
Piers said the entrepreneur — now bidding for a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar — was “someone well on his way to £100million”.
Others in the line-up include raunchy Luisa Zissman who runs a cake business but has also stripped off for some saucy pics.
She ended up BEDDING one of the other contestants during the show — former Oxford University student Jordan Poulton, who works in IT. The pair are still dating now.
Former semi-pro footballer Neil Clough also joins this year and has declared himself an early contender, saying: “I’m here to win.
Lord Sugar
“If that means being tough and making tough decisions, that’s what I’m going to do.”
Ex-waiter Zeeshan Shah, who grew up in Pakistan, is also cocky, boasting: “I’m a ‘great’ of my generation. I take inspiration from Napoleon — I am here to conquer.”
Uzma Yakood hopes her spirituality will help her win Lord Sugar over.
The former Asian Women of Achievement Awards nominee owns a make-up brand.
She said: “If I believe in something, I will go to the end to make sure it’s done.”
This year’s series kicks off on May 7 on BBC1.
